  5. Choice! is Wild Hare's exciting software product which directly runs programs
  6. written in Data General Interactive COBOL (ICOBOL) language on computers which
  7. support SCO XENIX and UNIX. Absolutely no conversions, translations, or even
  8. recompilations are required to now run DG ICOS, ICOBOL, IC/AOS, and IC-AOS/VS
  9. programs under SCO XENIX and UNIX. Complete Data General sofware compatibility
  10. is maintained because the same program (.PD/.DD) and data files (.NX/.XD) from
  11. the Data General computers are used on the SCO-based machines. Choice! supports
  12. all Data General data file formats, including ISAM files with alternate keys
  13. and relative files. All of the special ICOBOL ``extended'' features, such as
  14. the SCREEN SECTION, CALL PROGRAM systems calls, program LINKAGE section and
  15. menu input handling are exactly duplicated. The new release even supports the
  16. latest Data General ICOBOL 1.5/1.6 functions.
